Why We Should care for Planet?
We are in an age where mindless development and limitless consumerism have done more harm to nature than any other aspects. The theory of Economics developed in the 19th and 20th centuries talks only about profit as the main goal. None of the economists have given any thought on the giving back to the environment which is the source of sustenance. Nature, on other hand, has given all the requisite material without any limitation and bound action of Economic Justification.
Air, the most important source of Life is given free without anything in return.
Water, the 2nd most required thing is also available free albeit with some effort. We need to walk up to springs, ponds, rivers, and waterfalls.
Food, the third most required thing is also given free but with a greater degree of effort as compared to Air and Water.
But, as human beings, we have always done the trade-off. Always believed in barter. And this is where we at Ecoindya has done soul searching to find out whether sustainable growth is possible or not?
Is it too difficult to motivate people to use renewable energy as a source of power? Can we not partner with a transportation company that uses an Electric vehicle to transport our goods? Can we not adopt a policy of Reuse and Recycle?
We at Ecoindya understand that natural resources are to be used rationally and hence focus is on Rainwater conservation, reducing carbon footprint by avoiding unnecessary travel and use office furniture made up of Recycled Rubber and Plastics.
At Ecoindya, we Walk the Talk. We first, look internally and have created an Eco-friendly environment for our processes, partners, and employees. Offices with large windows for Natural Lighting, encouraging employees to switch off lights while leaving the room, incentivising employees for Carpooling and encouraging them to work from home, providing reusable glasses and coffee cups. Simultaneously, we are motivating our partners to increase their renewable energy percentage uses, eco-friendly methods, and better environment quality methodology. The focus is to Protect the Planet, Protect the Surroundings and work towards a better Sustainable and Governance model

1. How Cotton is best suited to protect the environment.
• A renewable product which gets assimilated in the soil in no time makes it ideal for fabric
• When you use cotton, you contribute by avoiding petroleum-based chemical fibres which are not the only environmental pollutant but remain in nature forever.
• Every time use of cotton also ensures that the fibre which you are wearing is produced with minimal application of chemicals as cotton locally produced is genetically modified and grown in a traditional way.
2. How do you contribute to environment by using Jute products
• When you use Jute products, you are helping nature by adding more oxygen to it. A hectare of Jute plant, not only cleans the air by consuming 15 tons of carbon dioxide which is the main cause of greenhouse gas but also releases 11 tons of Oxygen in 100 days of the growing season.
• Moreover, Jute is grown on land which is not suitable for farming (like tidal land), and multiple crops of Jute plantations help in the recovering wasteland for growing any other crops.
• We use locally grown Jute products which are traditionally farmed without any pesticides/chemicals and hence both ecological and the water footprint is low.
3. How do you make the environment sustainable by using Areca Leaves
• Areca leaves has a great characteristic of fixing Nitrogen in the soil. You don’t need to use Chemicals to do the same.
• As a green alternative to plastics, every uses of Areca leaves help in making this planet a better place to live.
• Being biodegradable in nature, every time you use it, the consumption of plastics and paper is cut down. Making it an affordable and environmental friendly product
We Care
With ESG at the core and way of life at Ecoindya, we maintain the highest standard when it comes to governance practices. Taking care of employees, vendors, and all stakeholders in terms of their health and safety is of prime importance. As such, all our facilities are properly sanitized at regular intervals. Along with that, daily checking of Temperature and Oxygen levels of employees is done diligently. Awareness programs and support are provided in all respects so that a clean, healthy, and sanitized environment can be maintained.
