WHO ARE WE

Who we are

We are a bunch of inexperienced guys. But really speaking, does experience matter?

Although experience brings knowledge it also brings all the inherent and latent inefficiencies accumulated over a period of time.

Let us take a few examples. Bill gates, at the age of 15 in 1970, developed Traf – O – data, a computer program to monitor the traffic of Seattle. Zuckerberg developed his first website in the dormitory of Harvard in the very first year. Ritesh Agarwal didn’t have any formal educational background in the Hotel business when he started OYO (in fact, he was selling Sim cards before venturing into OYO). The same can be said about Shiv Nadar, Larry Page, Nitin Kamath, Steve Ballmer, and the list can go on and on.

As a set of amateurs, we know our goals and are not bound by process. Our thought process is not limited (read polluted), never stops experiencing, and firmly believes that anything is achievable.

Hemingway once said, “We are all apprentices in a craft no one master”. A master always teaches what has been achieved and a student always breaks boundaries and achieves new frontiers and as such, we as amateurs, believe in taking the leap to achieving our dreams and not build bridges like professionals.

Preeti Dasani : A venture can only be successful and meet its goal provided it is managed by someone who can take the risk, can learn quickly from mistakes and is able to accept feedback, is brutally honest and radically transparent and above all has great Financial strength. Meet Ms Dassani who has been involved in Team Development and has worked through Structured Experimentation.

A beautiful soul, who has the ability to see things differently and solve problems by seeing things others don’t. Her latent skill helps in creating beautiful pieces out of waste which otherwise would have gone down the drain polluting environment

Neelam Tiwary : A homemaker for the first 50 years of her life managing the intricate world of a middle-class Indian family. She has gained enough courage, sound, and a strong mind with a clear vision and a confidence level that is Goal-oriented. Working at home and managing a big family has given her a sense of timing, discipline, assertiveness, and decision making which will definitely help the idea to bloom and take a shape that is in line with the mission and vision of the company.

Binode Mohata : An entrepreneur who is a keen Strategic planner has in-depth experience in managing Exports and caring for Consumers. A Hodophile who loves Globetrotting and has widely traveled. Binode is also a philanthropist at heart.  He is a Trustee and active participant of an NGO which works for Child education and women empowerment. 

His experience in dealing with complex issues and coming with out ​of the box approach is commendable. A highly conscious person who knows the importance of Quality and actively works in sync with the R & D department to bring the most important requirement of the consumer to the table.

WHY ARE WE IN THIS BUSINESS

We need to have Reason for starting the business. It was early March of the fateful year 2020. We were sitting in our cosy rooms and watching how things were unfolding around us. While discussing among ourselves, we realized that the root cause of all problems on the planet Earth is we Human Being, a creature which is the least required entity over here. 

Plants, Animals, Birds, and Organisms are required as they contribute towards the well-being of Nature in some way or other. They participate in the Ecological building process. Only human beings are involved in the destruction process by taking out minerals, polluting Rivers/Seas, disturbing the ecological balance, and emitting greenhouse gases.

Big Forests have their in-built mechanism by which they regularly create small fires to clear the unwanted fuel from the ground. This process supports Forest by paving the way for plants to grow more. Human inhabitants have forcefully stopped such natural fire. This has resulted in Forest coming with vengeance and creating havoc in Amazon Forest.

Nature has decided a passing mark in the form of Natural Selection to survive on the Earth. We have distorted that order by creating Medical Facilities and forcing those people to live who would have not been allowed to survive naturally.

Nature has been pushed to the wall and like any other force, it is fighting for its survival. In the last 20 years, at least 10 times new viruses in the form, HIV, SARS, NIPAH, Ebola, MERS -CoV, Dengue, Hanta, Swine Flu, Bird Flu, etc have attacked humankind and Novel Corona is just adding to the list.

We can keep producing Antibiotics and Medicines to defeat them and keep Natural Selection at bay but to what extent? Every Future attack from nature will be more brutal, more forceful than the past one till Nature wins (read Survives). So instead of washing Hands, quarantining people and developing medicine let us wash our sins (by stopping the destruction of nature). Let us quarantine our habit (of one-way uses of natural resources) and develop a dose (to teach people to respect nature).

And this gave us the idea that is it not possible to have a trade that supports sustainability? Is it not possible to have growth that leaves nature undisturbed? Is it really difficult to grow simultaneously with nature?

Why not have a business model which entails giving more to nature than taking it. With this in mind, we thought of exploring more and decided that our venture will focus more on Recycle, Renewable, and equitable distribution of profits among all the stakeholders.
